Celebrate Spring! Please visit the library and view some of the
early editions of books related to birds from the permanent collection
of the library.
In the Rare Book Room window are books with beautiful radiant prints
produced by chemolithography.
The double elephant folio of the Julius Bien edition of The
Birds of America is featured with a new book written about
Audubon.
Citizen Bird, by Mary Osgood Wright, founder of The Birdcraft
Museum in Fairfield, as well as special selections from Bird Lore
edited by Frank M. Chapman are on display.
Nineteenth Century books about birds written for children are in
the small case.
