PLA Membership:

Pequot Library functions as a town branch library in the sense that it shares certain resources and a computer system with the main Fairfield Library and the Fairfield Woods branch.  There is a major difference between Pequot and the two Fairfield libraries, however:  Pequot receives less than 30% of its funding from the Town of Fairfield and State of Connecticut.  In contrast, Fairfield Main and Fairfield Woods receive more than 90% of their funds from the Town and State.  This means that the most important way you can help the Library is to join the Pequot Library Association (PLA) by donating to the Annual Fund.

PLA membership means you become an integral part of Pequot mission to bring literature, music, art and the humanities to the community by providing the necessary financial support.  At the same time, there are numerous benefits available to members at every level, from inclusion on our mailing and eFlyer lists to access to members-only databases to discounts on certain event registrations.  Click here for a complete list of PLA membership benefits and to download a Membership Form.

Volunteering at Pequot:
